Kanye West and his connection to social media might be spotty at best with the Chicago producer and rapper often going on long stretches of silence via the medium. On Valentine’s Day, Yeezy made an epic return to Instagram opening with a message of love for his wife, Kim Kardashian, then went on a spree of showcasing celebrity love.

Thus went the first of West’s messages on Wednesday (Feb. 14), and continued an hours-long barrage of posts highlighting other star couples such as Madonna and Sean Penn, Barack and Michelle Obama, 2Pac and Aaliyah, and Diddy and Jennifer Lopez among others.

West didn’t add anything else to the captions save for the names of the couple pictured. On the flip side, Kardashian posted a photo of she and her husband with the caption “I love you to infinity! Happy Valentine’s Day!!!”

Kanye West doesn’t live out his life on social media like his wife Kim Kardashian, so it was a shock to fans to see the Chicago superstar on Instagram this past Valentine’s Day. And just like that, West deleted his Instagram account after the loving flood of messages to his better half.

On Wednesday (Feb. 14), West revived his Instagram account with a note to his wife, then proceeded to go on an hours-long flood of celebrity couple posts before ending the dozens of photos with a pair of photos of he and Kardashian using the caption “Kimye” as coined by the tabloids.

Knowing West, there might have been an artistic concept behind the reactivation and deletion, and it certainly feels like it was part of a larger moment that wasn’t expressed. For her part, Kardashian kept it simple with a loving note to her husband that remains active today.

SymbasErothick might not be known to many outside of her loyal fanbase on Instagram, but her head-turning curves are making waves across social media as of late. During last week’s Trinidad Carnival and playing mas, Symba stole the proverbial show by way of her powerful bustline and backside.

Not much is known about Symba but she has been online stunting with her curves for at least the past five years under the name Sibongile Cummings. According to her IG bio, Symba is a “Carnival Enthusiast. Travel Addict. No F*cks Giver. Brooklynite. Shopaholic. Rude Big Batty Gyal. Jokes Queen.”

Will Smith is a master showman on and off screen. He recently hit the 10 milli mark on IG and took a look back in a hilarious montage.

Known for for keeping his personal life private, Big Willy confirmed on a December 2017 appearance on Ellen that he would finally be joining Instagram. Naturally she took the time to give him some personal pointers including a spot on Fresh Price Of Bel-Air TBT.

Since then he has taken to the social media app like a fish to water. 72 posts later the I Am Leged star hit 10 million followers. He commemorated the milestone with a pretty epic video that took a look back at all his best IG moments thus far.

The sped-up clip highlights his infamous nipple slip to Justin Timberlake, the time he colored his hair in tribute to his son Jaden and multiple celebrations from the Philadelphia Eagles winning the Super Bowl.

The verdict is still out whether or not if the Russians successfully tipped the election in favor of the mad tangerine faux dictator but if you asked us we would all say yes. Facebook believes the latter but according to a New York Times report it’s social media platform was Russia’s favorite weapon to use to disrupt our democratic voting system.

They also loved to use our favorite photo-sharing platform Instagram as well.

This past Friday, the Justice Department revealed that the Russians heavily relied on both social platforms to do their work and help get Donald Trump elected by spreading propaganda. The Russian troll farm called the Internet Research Agency started gathering information on Americans in social groups that focused on immigration and religion back in 2014. In 2015  they started purchasing ads to get the jig in motion. In 2016 they used those followers to organize rallies and help spread their false words across America.

All of this has come to light after prosecutors have charged 13 Russians and 3 companies for meddling in our election and trying to help Donald Trump who flat out denied in instances and still fails to this day to even say they did. The 37-page indictment drops the details on how Russians used stolen identities and posed as Americans, created Facebook groups and shared divisive ads and inflammatory photos to help divide the electorate.

Facebook was not accused of any wrongdoing in the indictment but it showed they were the clear favorite as the social media platform was mentioned 41 times compared to Twitter being mentioned only 9 times, YouTube once and PayPal 11 times. Facebook has more than 2 billion users on its social network so it would make sense for the Russians focus all of its efforts on the platform. Facebook is still struggling to take full responsibility for making it so easy for these egregious actions to happen and now acting swiftly to point them out. With the midterm elections quickly coming up we can only hope they do a better job of preventing this from happening again.

We’ve featured some astounding bottoms on our channel in times past, but the Ivory Coast’s Eudoxie Yao, AKA the “African Kim Kardashian,” might be the biggest of them all. Boasting a 60-inch backside, Yao claims her round rump is official tissue and that she’s never had any knife work.

The Daily Mail profiled Yao over the weekend via video which shows the curvy social media star walking through her hometown of Abidjan, causing people to stop and stare in the street. Yao explained to the outlet that in her family, big butts is part of the gene pool and that others in her family have larger booties than hers.

The model, who doesn’t want to disclose her age, weighs 209lbs (14st 9lbs) and has got no desire to go on a diet and slim down her magnificent measurements.

And she’s even been branded Africa’s answer to her reality TV idol Kim Kardashian, whose success she hopes to emulate.

‘Someone who I’m a fan of is Kim Kardashian. I like her dress sense,’ she explained. ‘I’ve been compared to her, and what she does. She’s definitely my role model.

‘I’ve never had cosmetic surgery. Never, never, never in my life. I’ve always been like this. My elders have bigger bums than me. It’s always been natural.

Via her backup Instagram page, Yao says the network shut down her page that had well over 450,000 followers and hopes to get it reinstated. It’s a shame the haters couldn’t let her live.

Kash Doll, and her rags to riches story, is mad inspirational and that’s culminated into a number of strong singles along with one of the most buzzworthy social media followings in the game. Some recent images posted by the “For Everbody” rapper has reminded many that there is much body to go along with the bars.

Hailing from Detroit‘s West Side, Kash Doll got her start in the game as a stripper and turned that fast cash into her music hustle, remixing Tinashe’s “2 On” to critical acclaim. Her single “For Everbody” solidified Kash as a serious force in the music scene after some early battles with the business. Today, Kash uses her popularity and rallies her 2 million Instagram followers around some of her causes while also continuing to stunt for the masses when needed.

Some might remember seeing Kash Doll’s name after Royce Da 5’9 blasted the decision to give the Spirit of Detroit Award to Cardi B instead of the hometown star late last year and called the move “disrespectful.”

The award going to Cardi didn’t slow down Kash Doll’s movement, salute to her. And you can definitely see why she made as much as $26,000 in one night, phew.

Uncle Diddy has had enough of the rampant shark biting. He took to social media to voice his concerns.

In a recent post to his Instagram account, Brother Love seemed disturbed with the lack originality in Hip-Hop. While seated in his car he voiced what many lovers of the art have been feeling.

“It is literally too much. Everybody saying the same sh*t in different ways. You have to be special, you have to be unique” he explained.

His caption further elaborated his point. ” Artists have to be special, you have to be unique. Don’t just be apart of the noise.”

Apparently, this clip got people in their feelings prompting to clear up his intentions via an IG live video.

“I wanted to readdress what I was talking about yesterday. Everything I said yesterday was with positive intentions. I want it to remain that way. My thing is to push people to be great. I’m not no moral compass on who’s wack and who’s hot. You can like whoever you want. I was just sharing some tips on how to get to the bag and originality and something special is key.”

This is not the first time the Bad Boy mogul expressed disappointment with modern-day artists. Last year he posted something similar asking the game to stop cooning.

Social media can either make or break you. Desiigner has been hit with papers over an Instagram rant.

In August 2017 the Brooklynite put a woman on blast for allegedly trying to get over on his sister. The since deleted post read “THIS GIRL IS A FRAUD. TRIED TO SCAM ME INTO PAYING FOR MY SISTER TO GET INTO HOWARD UNIVERSITY AND NOW SHE IS TRYING TO HOLD MY SISTERS BELONGINGS. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM HER AND HER COLLEGE SCAMS!! WARNING STAY AWAY FROM THE SCAMMERS @daddys_girl202 @collegegurljb”.

The female in question is Jessica Brown and heads up College Gurl. According to the website the organization’s mission is to “ensure that students and families are well informed about the programs, policies, and strategies that result in making the best-informed decisions around financing a college education.”

Jessica claims she not only assisted his sister, Sierra Shelby, in getting accepted to Howard University but also securing a nearby storage unit. Shelby ended up leaving the institution abruptly but did not claim her belongings. After numerous attempts of trying to return the items the “Panda” rapper let his IG account do the talking and his 1 million plus followers apparently got vicious.

Brown is now suing him for defamation of character and invasion of privacy.

We don’t know much about Eva Lopez except that she does a little modeling, a little dancing, a little bartending and is a loving mom while looking drop dead gorgeous doing so. Ms. Lopez is our latest Baes & Baddies entry, and she’s definitely showing out for the Big Apple.

Based on what we can gather from her popping IG page, Lopez does most of her work in the city that never sleeps.  Aside from looking dope and showcasing her growing boy here there, it appears Lopez gets it in at various spots around the city as a dancer, hostess, bartender and more.  And she also has a love of Hip-Hop with photos of the late Chinx, Wacka Flocka Flame and others.

For those who have been vehemently upset that Instagram jacked up your timeline with their new algorithm, it seems they have heard your digital screams. The sister company of Facebook announced that they will aim to feature “newer” posts in your feed plus they also added the ability to link to hashtags and profiles in your bio.

Well, it’s about damn time.

The company is looking to introduce a “new posts” tab that will make sure you won’t miss those moments your favorite Instagram peeps just uploaded. Once you tap on the tab it will take you to the top of your feed where the “timely posts” live. The new tab hopes to stop users from losing their place in their feed when the app automatically refreshes. Along with the new tab, Instagram is also promising that “newer posts” will show up in your timeline without having to press on the tab all of the time.

It’s not clear if the new posts tab will address the trash algorithm but it’s a start. The algorithm was so bad that a change.org petition was created and amassed 26,000 Instagram users signature. If you are still worried about missing your friend’s posts you could always turn on post notifications.

But who wants all of those notifications popping up? Especially if that particular friend posts a lot.

The ale other new feature that users probably noticed is that you can now link hashtags and profiles in your profile bio. Back in December, Instagram gave it’s users the ability to follow hashtags. Now by just adding # or @ in your profile’s bio you can click on them from there shining giving more focus to your hashtag, business page or company you work for.

Now, what if someone you don’t care for links to your profile in their bio?  You will receive a notification stating that the person linked you to their bio and it will give you the option to either approve or deny the link.

These new updates clearly show Instagram is listening we are still gonna keep hope alive they just scrap that whole algorithm together.

We’re trying to be mature here and recognize that yoga as a health practice is something everyone should examine at least once in their life as studies show there are loads of benefits. But excuse us as we collect ourselves after witnessing yoga instructor Alex Kaufmann AKA @BahaYogi flex for the ‘Gram, thus making her our latest Baes and Baddies entry.

First, the fact is that despite being drop-dead gorgeous, Kaufmann officially knows her stuff. She first dove into the yoga pool in 2010 while as a student at the University of Toronto in Ontario, Canada, then picked it up again in 2013 after giving birth to her daughter.

Since then, Kaufmann has chronicled her journey from yoga practitioner to a certified instructor to the tune of over 213,000 followers on her Instagram page. She also offers courses and retreats, along with gracefully stunting with her artful and body-twisting thirst traps.

Drake has a handful of nicknames under his belt, notably his Instagram handle Champagne Papi and The Boy but might have to add Duey P to the list.. After an image of the Canadian superstar rocking a durag much like his pops surfaced, the clowning commenced but Drizzy took it all in stride and roasted others for trying to clown too.

The image was posted by Toronto comedian Trey Richards, with the caption reading “Duey P Newton in the Gradient Du,” tagging Drake’s IG in the process. While most fans found the image ripe for jokes, there were more than enough people who thought it was just fine. However, the heat must have gotten too hot for the OVO honcho and he came with the fire using “nuff” Toronto slang to make his point.

“Wooooowww its crazy to see how people hate on how fleek I look in the gradient dueyyy I Pree’d nuff of your profiles and you mans are waste from ends that nobody rates ah lie?” Drake responded in the comments section.

You don’t get to nearly three million followers on the ‘Gram for being boring, and adult film starlet Moriah Mills has made a splash via the social media network and in her other life. The Queens, New York native is our latest Baes & Baddies entry, and don’t worry, we’re keeping the racier stuff off here.

Mills, 26, joined Instagram in 2015 and has managed to secure her corner as one of the top head-turning models on the social media service. She made her skin flick debut in July 2017 and it seems to be paying off although she doesn’t promote that side of her career. Mostly, her Ig page consists of Mills showing off the goods with some outfits definitely made for the evening hours.

There was also some shade being thrown between Mills and  Wendy Williams, this after Mills was approached by the talk show host on her television program. The situation seemingly got heated and Mills threw a jab at Williams via IG as seen just below.

Just when folks thought that retired speedster Usain Bolt and girlfriend Kasi Bennett were on the outs, a racy photo has surfaced that will serve as your reminder that things are still good. It was looking shaky as just days ago, Bolt was seen dancing up hard on model Zahra Elise, who was also at this year’s Jamaica Carnival. While Bennett has apparently forgiven such trespasses in the past, it wasn’t much of a shock to see she tagged her man’s name right under her bustline in the revealing, low-cut outfit she wore to play mas in for the carnival.

Wale is definitely still MMG. The DC MC recently spoke to Meek Mill and confirmed their brotherhood is still intact.

In the midst of the ongoing battle to free the Philadelphia MC, his label mate shared that the two spoke and detailed a rich history of their bond that goes deeper than the music.

“Spoke to my dawg for grip Yesterday … it’s funny how nobody knows how close we are or what we been through. It’s really deeper than rap.” He went on to clarify that they have moved past their prior issues. “We look back and laugh at the dumb shyt and we welcome the endless possibilities of our future with open arms” he elaborated.

Even though the legal system has the Dreamchaser CEO in a bad spot, Folarin shares that both have found positives in this unfortunate situation. “The silver lining in this fucked up situation is the clarity and wisdom he has gained. The silver lining for me is realizing what(or who) is real. I the end there barely is a silver lining in such an unjust situation but the conversation we’ve been having have inspired me on levels I deemed unattainable at one point.”

Over the years the two lyricists have not always seen eye to eye. Back in 2014 Meek took to Twitter when Wale failed to tweet or post about his album. Then in 2015 he claimed Wale wasn’t MMG when he inadvertently said Drake had the better diss record.

What little we know about Kapree is that she is originally from North Carolina, possibly now in Hollywood, and serves as both a dancer and bartender while doing photo shoots here and there. She’s also the CEO of The Karter Collection, which appears to be a women’s clothing line in development.

Nicki Minaj has been in the hot seat for the last week. Her controversy with Cardi B and Quavo took headlines by storm, but now positive praise is coming her way. After several new releases, fans, critics and commentators are starting to show favor for her single “Chun-Li.” This single was released with “Barbie Tingz” and accompanied by a vertical music video.

Nicki took to Instagram to show her appreciation for all the love coming her way. Funk Flex dropped bombs on “Chun-Li,” and  Peter Rosenberg referred to the New York superstar as “Queen” while Joe Budden has claimed the record is hard. Overall, Nicki Minaj seems to be happiest about New York figureheads celebrating New York Hip-Hop.
